TSCS 600 Mini Sprint Racing
Texas Small Car Series
The TSCS "Texas Small Car Series" was formed to promote and market 600 Mini Sprint in North Texas, after a several year absence and a growing urge for a more competitive form of open wheel racing, the TSCS was formed.
The group has hosted a few starter races in 2007 @ Boyd Speedway in Boyd Texas. In 2008 we will be scheduling races 3 times a month on Friday nights at Grand Priairie Speedway and 1 Weekly non poiints show at Boyd Speedway. We will also be scheduling some Saturday races across the metroplex. and in North Texas.
After just 1 short year and a lot of miles and hard work, The TSCS has estimated over 30 cars to be placed localy in and around the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex for 2008. With the addition of the 600 in 2007 more than a dozen new cars have already been purchased and are getting prepared for 2008.
As of now there are currently 2 to 3 different racing associations across Texas, the Brazos Mini Sprints and the EMSA "Eight Mile Sprint Association. The groups combined have another 40 plus racers whom compete across the state this year alone.
Collectivley the TSCS will lbe utilizing a A-class car race format. These cars utilize Stock 600 CC motorcycle engine made by Honda,Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki. These are the same engines found on the 600cc motorcycle.
These cars utilize the same engine and car rules as the Governing ASCS2/NMMA/TulsaShootout rules with the exception of the allowed wing combinations.

NEWS FLASH ASCS2
We are proud to announce the ASCS2 will be making a few trips to Texas in 2008, The TSCS is a offspin of the ASCS2 here in Texas... the shows will be announced in the near future and we are sure it is to make for some great racing.
The TSCS runs Winged 600 car in the stock class the ASCS Runs Restrictor 600, Non Wing and Muti Sprint 600 classes. Our winged rules are in line with the NON WING ASCS2. 2008 and beyond is sure to be an awesome year of racing... Will keep everyone posted to the ASCS2 rules for Texas when we get them. Also we will be in contact with the ASCS2 officals at the ShooutOut.. MORE details to come.........stay tuned
In 2008 The TSCS will be competing at Grand Prairie Speedway on Friday Nights 3 times per month and then a monthly NON Points show at Boyd Raceway. and at special promotion shows at other race venues across the Texas Area. We will also work on schedul;ing some Saturday special races and or points series as the season draws near. we have also heard but not offical confirmed that Cowtown will be running 600's weekly will keep you posted to their schedule and information as well.
